On Sunday I headed up to Mt. Tabor Park to do some light painting with friends.

Hiking: Ape Caves

Today Mike, Shawn and I headed up to Ape Caves near Mount St. Helens in Washington. I’m headed to NYC next week and then California the following week and Mike is traveling abroad to Scotland so it will be a little while before our next mid-week hiking adventure in the Pacific Northwest.

LAPP: Test Photos

Oh the photos I’m going to take

They have been sitting in my apartment since July and finally tonight I put them together and took a couple test photos with them. At the beginning of the summer I started experimenting with light painting photography. It’s also known as LAPP (Light Art Performance Photography). I got really excited about the possibilities in LAPP but then got really busy and didn’t have time to play around. I should have more time in the next couple months. Or rather I’m going to make time. Lots more awesome photos to follow soon.
